We’re so excited for Leonard’s newest album, “Show Me The Place” sounds great!
Leonard Cohen - Show Me The Place
Leonard Cohen will release Old Ideas - his first album of new material in eight years - on January 31, 2012. Gospel-tinged new track, Show Me The Place, is streaming via Cohen’s Soundcloud profile above.
In October, Cohen received the Principe de Astrurias Prize for literature in Spain.
Speaking at the event, he said: “As I grew older, I understood that instructions came with this voice. And the instructions were these… Never to lament casually. And if one is to express the great inevitable defeat that awaits us all, it must be done wtihin the strict confines of dignity and beauty.”
Old Ideas will appear on CD, 180 gram vinyl and via digital download.
